But presented in a diverse context it can be a a lot different experience, the one that now had us wanting to hear more because i left the CD in it’s case, hearing Randy’s extended introducton for the music “Bang, Bang, I Am The particular Warrior”, recorded by 1980′s band Scandal, which included little known facts like: Jon Bonjovi has been the band’s original guitar player in 1981; the music was written by Canadian Nick Gilder (Roxy Roller); and also the Icelandic Pop sensation Bjork when declared it her favorite song in recent history … and eventually I recognized I was now having my sweet occasion driving home as what followed would be a plethora of fascinating stories and vintage rock songs coming from a bygone era, some obscure and some I’d noticed many times during the 70′s and 80′s, such as tracks by Squeeze, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, The Clash, Warren Zevon, and even Cher, but now introduced in a way that made it feel as if I was discovering these questions whole new light. Randy perhaps shamelessly played an abscure BTO observe called “Shotgun” which I’d never heard before. (We won’t say that particular observe is timeless, but it was interesting yet …).
In recent months I can vaguely call to mind hearing random clips of other stereo shows hosted simply by former Rock Celebrities, such as Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx (Sixx Sense using Nikki Sixx), and Alice Cooper (Nights using Alice Cooper), slightly different formats which I also identified mildly intriguing for similar reasons … not because I’m an die hard fan of these fellas (although growing up inside 70′s, everybody listened to Alice), but because they provide a wealth of real-life experiences as well as music industry perspectives which connect with legions regarding adoring music fans, romanticizing a time when Rock n’ Roll icons were engrossed in an exhilarating mystique which left an indelible mark on the zeitgeist of following generations.
So this has become a new indulgence personally, leading to the veritable treasure trove of past attacks for Randy Bachman’s VINYL Faucet. Not only does his stereo show bring an original perspective to tunes I haven’t thought about in a long time, but I right now feel like I’m reliving the Oldies through the prism of an renowned musical figure, somebody who makes this aged music sound brand-new again as reported tagza.com.
